In the Application Management area, there are a series of filters that allow the administrator to fine tune the application list to see a specific segment of applicants based on a number of criteria. The administrator can use these filters individually or combined to specify the pool of applicants further.
Note - The specific filters available differ from district to district or school to school.
An explanation of the default filters used across MOST systems are noted below.
Application Status – The status of the actual application based on actions taken by the parent and or administrator.
- Submitted – Submitted by the parent or admin, completed.
- Not Submitted – Started and saved by the Parent or admin, incomplete.
- Eligible – This application is eligible to be run through the lottery.
- Ineligible– This application is ineligible to be run through the lottery.
- In Processing – New and has not been reviewed by administrators or marked as eligible or ineligible.
- Withdrawn - Application has been withdrawn by the parent or an admin. If withdrawn, the status cannot be changed, the parent must resubmit the application.
Program – This drop down will allow administrators to type a program’s name to view applications that they have access to in order to filter down to only that program’s applications for review. If the administrator only has access to one program, this option will not show up.
Grade – This drop down contains all possible grades that an applicant could be applying for.
Lottery List - This drop down contains all possible options for location on a lottery list and the status of the student’s confirmation of that list.
- Accepted – All – All students that have been placed on the accepted list
- Accepted – Pending – All students who have been placed on the accepted list who have not accepted or declined their seat.

Search - Search for a specific applicant name, SC ID # or SIS ID# and the system will render results that match all other filters along with the data in the search box.
Flag – This drop down contains all possible flag types created in the SETTINGS>>CUSTOM DATA>>MANAGE FLAG TYPES (Note - These flag types or the availability to manage flags are not accessible in all systems.)
- Age Verification – An application that has fallen outside of the standard DOB for the grade applying for.
- No Email – The application was entered by an administrator and there is no email address on file.
- Sibling(s) Applying to Attend – There are siblings listed within the application who are also applying to attend the school and verification of the siblings is required.
- Sibling(s) Currently Attending – There are siblings listed within the application who are currently attending the school and verification of the siblings is required.
Date Range - Search for applications submitted between a specific date range. Upon clicking into the date range fields, a date picker select menu will appear allowing admins to choose from any date for both date range fields.
If integrating with your Student Information System you will also see two additional options in your filters section.
- Hide SIS Students - By checking this box, the application results will no longer showcase students who submitted applications using their ID number.
- Hide SC Students - By checking this box, the application results will no longer showcase students who submitted applications without an ID number.
